Our vision
At Gooey.AI, we research how AI can become more accessible, collaborative, transparent, and socially grounded, especially for the organizations and communities working on the world's most urgent challenges.
Our research sits at the intersection of AI infrastructure, human-centered design, public-interest technology, and global impact. We work with communities, educators, artists, public institutions, funders, and frontline organizations to understand how AI systems can be made more useful, inclusive, accountable, and adaptable to local needs.
We believe the future of AI will not be shaped by models alone, but by the workflows, evaluations, communities, and governance practices that determine how those models are used.
Our research asks practical questions such as:
- How can AI models better serve low-resource languages, local contexts, and frontline use cases?
- How can AI be deployed in ways that are transparent, privacy-preserving, sovereign, and vendor-neutral?
- How can reusable AI workflows accelerate innovation across agriculture, health, education, science, culture, and public services?
- How is AI reshaping creativity, culture, knowledge production, and collective intelligence?
Our research is grounded in real-world deployment and seeks to make AI more useful, understandable, accountable, and shareable.
